Changelog · ScopeVeil

Public release notes for the platform. We list the things you can see and touch: new pages, dashboard features, billing accuracy, security posture. Boring infrastructure work lives in the commit log.

  1. Blog and engineering writeups

Launched /blog with the first long-form post on the double-entry ledger that powers gateway billing. New compare-bridge section on the homepage links it to the rest of the site.

  2. Cost transparency in request metadata

Every captured request now records raw provider cost, your markup amount, the markup percentage applied, and the pricing tier. Visible in /dashboard/requests and on XLSX exports.

  3. Three new comparison pages

Added /compare/helicone, /compare/litellm, and /compare/openai-direct. Honest side-by-side feature tables for teams evaluating alternatives.

  4. OpenRouter comparison page

Published /compare/openrouter with feature table, migration diff, and FAQ. Two strings to switch: baseURL and apiKey.

  5. Insights dashboard

Added /dashboard/insights with four actionable insights drawn from your usage history: cheapest model, latency outliers, cost trend, and tier upgrade thresholds.

  6. Worker auto-recovery on Redis idle cleanup

The analytics worker now recreates its consumer group automatically when Upstash evicts the idle group, eliminating the daily stall that affected event ingestion.

  7. Per-request drill-down and XLSX export

New /dashboard/requests lists every request with filters, a detail drawer, stable descending sort, and one-click XLSX download for finance reporting.

  8. User-first navbar and balance hero on overview

Redesigned the navigation to put the user menu and current balance front and center. The dashboard overview now leads with a balance hero plus inline recent activity.

Every commit lives on GitHub. The changelog filters for changes that actually move the experience for paying customers.
